Many have made, or are thinking about making, personal New Year’s resolutions, but how many are considering resolutions for their custom homes in Clark County WA?
In this three-part series, Tuscany Homes suggests New Year’s resolutions for your new custom home.
Go green. Due to your custom home being so new, it’s probably very green. Yet, you can always go greener. Vow to use less electricity. Pledge to turn the AC off when you’re not home and turn the heat down to 55 while you’re sleeping. One more thing, recycle those old electronics.
Maintenance. Just because your custom home is newer than the latest iPhone doesn’t mean it’s maintenance free. Create a schedule to take care of things like replacing your air filter, draining your hot water tank, and cleaning your gutters. Then stick to it. Doing regular maintenance will save you time and money in the long run.
Get ready to entertain. You have a brand new custom home, why not show it off?
Besides making your home look nice, also make sure you have the necessary accouterments to host friends like enough dishes, proper serving utensils, and appropriate glassware.
Do you have music? Is there a place to hang out indoors? Is there a place to hang out outside? Is your television appropriate for the big game?
