Tuscany Homes, a custom home builder based in Vancouver WA, continues its series on design ideas for your custom home’s kitchen. Hopefully, you can use some of following suggestions or, at the very least, they’ll provide inspiration.
Glass cabinet doors. Instead of the usual doors on your cabinets, think about glass doors. They really make a kitchen stand out. There are oodles of design options for panes and glass (for example frosted). Many think these doors are also great when mixed with creative lighting.
Dishwasher Drawers. Dishwashers can be ugly. Contemplate getting a dishwasher drawer. While they don’t wash as many dishes as a traditional dishwasher, they are easier on the eyes.
Corbels. They add accent to kitchen cabinets and islands. What’s a corbel? Basically, a corbel is a decorative bracket. When talking about corbels for custom homes, we usually mean corbels made from wood.
Beadboard. This is a terrific design element because it adds a nice touch to a kitchen while still being simple. Beadboard is appropriate for cabinet ends or fronts.
